Iron Rails: Checkpoint Express
Drive a steam locomotive along the railways of the imperial age, across the plains of India, the African savanna, and the Siberian forest. Every few seconds a checkpoint question appears at the top of the screen and a gate of three answer banners rises over the line, switch onto the track with the right answer. Right answers earn power-ups; wrong ones cost a strike and show you the real answer.
Switch tracks← →hop one track per press (A/D, or swipe/tap on touch). SPACEstart, or pause during a run. The train drives itself and picks up speed the longer you last.
Pick your trackRead the question, then be on the left, middle, or right track as you pass the gate.
Dodge & collectSwitch around boulders, cargo crates, and parked freight wagons, and the odd wagon rolling ahead of you; grab trails of gold as they hop tracks. Pickups: shield, ×2, coin magnet, and the uncommon high bridge (10s up on a trestle over the line: no hazards, no gates). Correct answers also earn a power-up; three in a row = a guaranteed shield.
3 strikes · 2 bumpsA wrong gate costs a strike (−1 ♥); lose all three and it's the end of the line. Hitting something slows you down and leaves the engine damaged for 10s, hit another while damaged and the train is wrecked.
Tip: click the game first so the arrow keys switch tracks instead of scrolling the page.
